Chris is responsible for all Farm and Dairy personnel, equipment and operations.  His education at University of California, Davis provided a sound foundation in Dairy Science and Agricultural Economics.  After graduation his employment on dairies in California, New Mexico, and Michigan preprared him for assuming his management position at Bridgewater.  Chris and Katie have a love of outdoor activities (especially water-skiing), short-term mission trips to Honduras, where they practice their Spanish language skills, and doing just about anything with their daughter Hannah.

Brenda Woodruff, Office Manager

Brenda Woodruff has been employed as Bridgewater's office manager since 2005.  Brenda is a Defiance College Graduate.  She and her husband Bill, son William, and daughters Natasha and Alyssia  are a very musically talented family performing often in church and other settings. Just about everything that happens at Bridgewater Farms is ultimately described by a set of numbers - all of which must pass through Brenda's capable hands!

Eric’s first job on a dairy farm was at 14 years of age and he continued working on dairies every summer thereafter.  He also worked on the college dairy while a student at OSU.   Eric hails from the Fort Recovery, Ohio area.  He and his wife Brandy live in Montpelier.

Greg Dietsch, Farm Operations Manager

Picture
Greg joined Bridgewater in the Fall of 2008 to head up the farming operations.  Beginning in 2009, Bridgewater became a fully equipped farming company perfoming most tillage, planting, and grain harvesting on the farms 4400+ acres.  Greg has extensive farming experience with his family farming operations in the Edgerton area.  Greg also has prior experience in project and business management as well as being active in community affairs in the Edgerton area.  Greg and his team did an outstanding job of planning our equipment, tillage  and personnel needs beginning with a nearly blank sheet of paper in Fall of 2008.  The success of our farming program in 2009 (a challenging weather year to be certain) bodes well for our future farming operations.

Greg Gigax, Assistant Farm Manager

Greg's extensive farming experience in the Archbold/Wauseon area, combined with his "can do" attitude and constant pursuit of perfection make him an excellent fit as Bridgewater's Assistant Farm Manager.  Greg also worked in a supervisory position at Sauder's Manufacturing for many years.  Gigax (as we've nicknamed him to avoid confusing the Greg's) has been known to say that '(he's) happy to be paid to pursue his hobby on a full-time basis.'  Farming is clearly his hobby, and ensuring that every seed is planted in the ground as if he were doing it by hand is his passion.
